They qualified, together with Monktonhall, in a stroke play format, at the same venue on Saturday 21st of September when they were also up against teams from Royal Aberdeen, Cathkin Braes, Dunbar, Downfield and Clober (Milngavie)
The boys were up against Dunfermline Golf Club (Pitfirran) in the semi finals in the morning whilst Monktonhall were beaten by Pumpherston in their semi final game.
Both teams played well in final that afternoon in rapidly declining weather conditions, with Turnhouse taking the Scottish Championship title for the first time.
